We got out in the snow too, love it! We stopped for some sandwiches at Newton Harcourt, where a chirpy little robin came to see us. He was brave enough to eat some crumbs from my hand! Couldn't get a photo of that but here are some of the scenery, including the sunset after we got home.

The Gumley walk is now fully subscribed. Hope it's a dry day for us. 😊

Just one space left now on the walk from Gumley on Sunday 21st. Due to demand we're putting on two walks both from the pub but going in opposite directions, both starting at 10:30. Grab that last space quick!

First leg of the Ivanhoe way yesterday from Bagworth to the foot of Bardon Hill, all going well until we got to the path from the A511 across Bardon Quarry which has been closed off! So 9 miles turned into 11 and it was hot and sticky! Hope the rest is better.

We did it! Finished the Leicester Round and sent off for our badges! Next up the Ivanhoe Way.......

Mike - the LFA have 'monitors (maintenance volunteers)' for the Leicester Round so might be worth emailing them as well as reporting to the council.

Just got back from a Belton, Launde Abbey, Loddington loop, 10.5 miles, and very hot! Another section of the LR ticked off.

12 miles on Sunday doing the next stage of the Leicestershire Round, Thorpe Langton to Hallaton. The bluebells were out already, the sunshine is definitely bringing things out early.

Always wanted to do the Leicestershire Round so we've started doing walks nearby incorporating it. 9 miles yesterday in glorious sunshine including Saddington to Foxton. Only saw a few others out but that included Jenny near Saddington and Dave and Anna near Gumley.
