Summer 2026 Annual BBQ

This year's annual group BBQ was held at the same venue as last year due to the success of it being held at a private venue.

Debbie was happy to open up her home and garden agsain for this event and it was good to see some new members join us  for this occasion.

We were able to offer two walks thanks to Mike and Luba who took a group each and walked in the lovely South Leicestershire countryside,

the weather was dry for this event and we did get some welcome sunshine whilst people were eating their food.

38 people attended which was the same as last year, which proves it popularity. all tastes were catered for under the same format as last year and with

the committee's help it proved to be just as successful as last year. We had a slight increase in costs to £12, which covered all costs.

With lovely weather, great food and good company, this day was a successful celebration of our shared love of walking and community spirit.
